         3. Make patterns according to your measurements: 2 rectangles: one for               the top of the dress, the second for the skirt.

         4. Now knit both rectangles around the edges so that the dress fits                       perfectly. Like this (you can flash it manually or on a typewriter)

         5. Plant the bodice by putting it on the doll. Pick up the skirt and sew.

         6. The last step is to sew the straps and the closure (velcro, button,                       hook).

The long dress for Barbie is ready! And most importantly - you did it with your own hands in 10-20 minutes.
